Honoring Our Ancestors
February 15, 2014

www.honoringourancestors.com

Greetings Fellow Family History Sleuths,

Well, 2014 decided to toss me a curve ball with a computer system meltdown, so I can already tell you that next month's issue will be light since I've been spending most of my time doing what's necessary to mop up the situation, but there's lots here in this issue! I hope you'll enjoy reading about everyone from Betty White to Bruno Mars, a 111-year-old Irish woman, and another Titanic mystery solved.

And I'd like to take a moment to those of you who have been kind enough to send a note sharing your thoughts about this newsletter. It means the world to me that there are some folks out there who get a kick out of it!

Wishing you and yours an Olympically-great February!

Megan

"Hey, America, Your Roots Are Showing" now available in audio format!

Hey, need something to keep you company on that next road trip? How about the just released audio version of Hey, America, Your Roots Are Showing? It's 8.75 hours so will pleasantly distract you for quite a long time!

By the way, I'm quite excited as this the first of my six books to have an audio version. Am looking forward to hearing my experiences as narrated by a stranger with a lovely voice!

Please do me a favor and let your genealogy/history-buff friends know. Thanks!

DNA Casting. I can't vouch for this company or show, but I know a lot of folks like the opportunity to be on television - and in this instance, it involves DNA testing. But please, proceed at your own risk!

Please try again - or try for the first time if you have Swedish heritage. If you haven't watched it, it's a fun show - in Swedish, but since the contestants speak English, you can understand just about everything.

Upcoming Events

After traveling around and speaking in 40 states and half a dozen countries since 2000, I’ve decided to take a breather from the road to tend to some projects. There will likely be a few exceptions, and those will be shared here, but you can see if I’ll be in your area any time by checking my Events Calendar. A thousand thank you's to the thousands of you who have been kind enough to come to my talks over the course of these road warrior years!
