In celebration of the upcoming 15th anniversary of her Seton Shields Genealogical Grants program, Megan asked me to share thank you notes that she’s received over the years from grant recipients. (“Me” is Megan’s assistant, Nicole.) 
Here is a look back at Kelly Bickle, who received a grant in 2009. Kelly and his wife are third generation owners of The Burns Studio in Boise, ID. The studio was built in 1919, and there are more than 100,000 negatives of people in Idaho. Kelly used the grant to help create a database and a website, Boise by Burns.
